APC will continue to fight for the health and safety of our Unit 4 employees, their families and the communities they serve. The Union`s position is that, once it has been put in place, the programme cannot be repealed without the university complying with its positive communication and its obligation to negotiate. Unfortunately, the university decided that it could withdraw the program unilaterally. This action was taken without regard to the potentially irrevocable harm it could cause to members of APC`s bargaining unit or its legal obligation.
